My 10 mile challenge !

I’ve never been much of a runner. It’s not that I don’t like running, I just get bored very easily. Nevertheless, I dared myself to run the annual Antwerp 10 miles!

I first started running on a treadmill, but after I’ve reached the distance of 4 km, I got bored and went outside. Best decision ever !  Running in fresh air with different surroundings really helps to clear my mind. Even now it’s getting colder, I still look forward to my weekly runs. So hope I’ll be able to keep up the good work and finish my 10miles in April!

‘Mancakes’

My boyfriend loves a good cake, but apparently he doesn't get the cupcake craze. He just wants his cake in a normal color, the rectangular size and decorated with ‘edible’ ingredients. But for our 5^th anniversary I thought it was a bit boring to just bake a traditional cake, so I decided to make him some ‘mancakes’ with a touch of girly love !

The result?  These cute pink heart-shaped cinnamon apple cakes.

Congratulations, it's a Chi

Today I became the proud owner of a CHI hairstyling iron. 

And although I’m blessed with nice curly hair, I love my straightener. 

You might wonder why girls spend hours straightening their pretty locks, but the answer is easy. Those curls you see in magazines aren't the ones I you wake up with. So that’s why you need to give them a hand in the right direction –or in some cases you give them an iron.

I could go on for another 10 minutes, but I think you know where I’m going. Everyone loves these mouth-watering desserts, so why not try to make one yourself?

Pink gradient nails

Gradient nails -it’s a lot easier than it looks and the result is so cute.

A/W13 - Gemstones

Autumn is lurking and leaves begin to change colour so it's time my outfits do too.

One word : Gemstones ! An outfit based on these vibrant colours will definitely score.

Green is said to the shade of the season, but the colours burgundy, navy blue, pastels, black, grey and white are always right. The prints are young yet classic this season. Think plaid, Scottish tartan and houndstooth but also a little Bambi and even leopard print. It’s not going to make you look cheap this time. Just add some leather to your outfit and you’re ready to shine!

You might think that these colours make every style possible -and you’re right! The military look, the grunge look, la Garçonne and even the elegant classic chique are possible. All you have to do now is finish up with some exotic furs, studs, pearls or (for the daredevils among us) some over-the-knee boots.

I hope this short summary inspires you when dressing up this season. Remember though, do not to just copy a runway model. Make it personal. Always give your outfit that little touch that makes it you and always ; have fun!
